Well, it is that time of the year, kiddos are hyped up on sugar and ready to be out of school. It is also that long haul time when there are conferences, grades, programs, and parties. Money can be tight and time even tighter! So, I wanted to share a fun activity that was introduced to me by our site technology guru. This little app or website is called, Quivervision. You can print out the free holiday coloring sheets or other coloring sheets and when the students are finished coloring them, the students can make their picture come to life. They can take a 3D picture or make a video of their creation. Below is the link to the website, but it is also an app. The website has a great trailer video that shows how all of this works and I suggest watching it to see some of the options. The students loved this and it didn’t cost me a penny! Also, our technology guru made it educational by having us show the following read aloud prior to coloring the Christmas tree sheet. If you are looking for a fun activity to do in class or as a station for your school holiday party, try this out!

Happy Holidays from Coalesced Classroom!
